ITSVA Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) provide a broad
range of technologies, which collectively can be used to solve many of our Commonwealth's
transportation problems. ITSVA works collectively with State, county and local governments to
make the best use of transportation technologies, and serves as a forum and network for its public
and private sector members to share information, ideas and experiences.

ITS Training Course Schedule
ITSVA Wants You to Know...
Beginning May 2, 2008, CITE will be offering Improving Highway Safety with ITS in a blended format. Participants will utilize the on-line materials as well as have conference calls with the instructor and interaction with other students.
The Consortium for ITS Training and Education (CITE) and the FHWA Office of Safety have released an interactive web-based course on “Improving Highway Safety with ITS.” This course aims to increase awareness of the benefits to be gained through the deployment of ITS for highway safety applications.
This blended course begins on May 2nd and continues through June 23, 2008. The fee for the course is $250 and students can register by going to the CITE web site at http://www.citeconsortium.org.
